Leadership

Brad Kosler Welcome

July 19, 2023

American Woodmark is pleased to announce that Brad Kosler will join American Woodmark Corporation as our Vice President of Finance, effective July 10, 2023.  He will report directly to the CFO, Paul Joachimczyk, as part of the finance leadership team. Brad will be responsible for leading the finance efforts to support our continued journey to Oracle.

Brad is eager to move to the Winchester, VA area with his family and dive into his new role. When asked what he was most looking forward to in this transition, his response was, “It’s got to be the weather, right?  Trading in the bitter cold winter months in Wisconsin for something much milder in Virginia!  All kidding aside, and as cliched as it may sound, I’m really looking forward to joining a best-in-class organization with great people whose culture and values align closely with mine.  Regardless of who or where you are, finding an organization that is just as passionate and driven to succeed by doing things the right way as you are is always exciting and energizing!”

Brad received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche, LLC. Subsequently, he has been in financial and leadership roles of increasing responsibility at General Electric Healthcare, Rockwell Automation, and ECM Industries, LLC.  ECM is primarily involved in the design, manufacture, and distribution of a broad portfolio of electrical products for use in multiple end-markets; and sells into a variety of channels, including large format retail hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc.), wholesale distribution, OEM-direct, specialty retail and distribution, e-commerce and catalog.

Most recently, Brad served as the VP of Finance at ECM, where he led all facets of the company’s financial processes.  In addition, he led the design and implementation of several Oracle Enterprise Performance Management modules integrating the financial results from multiple standalone ERP systems, as well as Basware - a bolt-on, cloud-based automated procure-to-pay solution.

“My goal here is simple. I want to help. I’ve had the privilege to experience, participate, lead, and complete a lot of unique projects throughout my career.  It just so happens that some of these projects closely align with what American Woodmark wants to accomplish as part of its Strategic 5-Year Plan. So, I’m excited to dive right in with the same passion and drive the rest our American Woodmark team has in order to help achieve our strategic plans.”
